Hello Everyone Over the weekend I attended the Hay House "Movers & Shakers" conference in Toronto, Canada. The key not speakers were the delightful Cheryl Richardson and Reid Tracy. Also making a special appearance was the Queen of Hay House, Louise Hay. This conference was primarily focused on people that wanted to build a platform in the media world, so that they can get their messaged out there. My personal experience from the weekend was great. Cheryl and Reid affirmed for me, by what was being covered that I was already well on my way of doing what is necessary to sustain my platform. I thank them for that. My "ah-ha" moment came to me on the last day. I had purchased Cheryl's & Louise's books during a break and was waiting in line to get these two empowering ladies to sign my newly purchased books. I first came to Cheryl. I thanked her for being someone that cares and that I could tell that her coaching was her passion. Cheryl signed my book. My intention was to then,go stand in the even longer line for Louise Hay. The lady standing beside me in Cheryl's line asked Cheryl how long Louise would be signing books. Cheryl said just for the break. The lady had a slight look of disappointment on her face and she processed to say she need to use the facilities. I took this opportunity to pay it forward. Not that I was looking for an opportunity. But being polite never hurt anyone. I asked the lady if it was alright if I got in line with her books for Louise while she did her business. She was thrilled and said yes. Off I went to Louise's line and off she went as well.I was standing in line and she returned and she said thank you. I replied your welcome and a friend of hers from the conference came up to her and they started to talk. I went through the line got my book signed by Louise and went back to my seat. Suddenly, the lady I held onto the books for was sitting beside me in the empty chair. She just wanted to let me know how much she really appreciated my kind gesture and we exchanged business cards, found out what each other did and she went back to her seat because the break was over. During the beginning of the lunch break, I had no specific plans other then to roam around and find something to eat and perhaps get into one of the new books I purchased. I wasn't feeling great because I had a slight headache due to allergies. I was walking down the hall and the same lady came up to me and asked what I was doing for lunch. I replied that I had no real plans. She then asked if I would like to come with a group she was going with for lunch. I said sure and joined them. She immediately slid her arm around mine and said "Ok great! You're with me!" We fell behind in the group walking up the street to get lunch because we were chit chatting about where we were in life, where we came from and some plans for the future. We finally arrived at our lunch destination ordered our food and sat down. We sat separately from the group because of other patrons in the restaurant and we had a fairly large group. We didn't mind and we sat down and started on our meals. As we were talking I kept getting this message to tell her. I asked her permission and she said "Of course, that would be great". I told her my message for her and her mouth dropped open. This message was very specific and went way beyond the general conversation we were having. All that she could say was "Thank you". She continued to say "I have been looking for a sign to see if I was on the right path, and you just confirmed everything." She then told me on the way back to the conference that she has a friend who is intuitive and her friend kept telling her to go because it will change her life. She also had a Reiki Master doing reiki on her and he had said that by going to this conference, she will have a pivotal moment of questions being answered. She just assumed it would come from the conference itself. But, it was the message that I gave her that bound everything together for her. She was so thrilled. When we got back to the conference room, she moved her way over to my side of the room and seat near me. We finished the conference and she immediately came over to me and offered me a big hug and a sincere "thank you" and to stay in touch. This conference not only affirmed that I was going in the right direction, but that I was still relevant for people and I am working in my passion. Have a passionate, abundant day
